Furniture removals checklist

• Put your surname on cartons and number them or label with couloured stickers
• Check in manual of your fridge, dryer, washing maschine, etc how to secure bowls/motors etc
• Defrost fridge and freezer 24 hours prior to the day of your removal
• Pack your boxes tightly and seal it securely with packing tape
• Clean and dry inside of freezers, fridges and dishwashers
• Remove pump, batteries etc from your bicycles.
• Don not move lawn mowers, edgers, etc. with oil or perol inside.
• Check manufacturers advice regarding computer equipment
• Make sure all items to be disassembled are ready prior arrival removal company
• Do not move you BBQ with filled gas cylinder.
• Wash out rubbish bins.
• Empty and clean fish tanks, bird cages, clean dog kennels, etc
• Place all loose items in cartons or bags
• Prepare plan for the placement of your furniture
• Be on hand or have someone authorised for loading and un-loading
